Sydney Metro is Australia’s largest public transport project and a cornerstone of New South Wales’ long‑term urban transport strategy. It is a fully automated, high‑frequency rapid transit system being delivered by the NSW Government to support Sydney’s continued population growth, improve network capacity, and provide reliable “turn‑up‑and‑go” rail services. When complete, the network will comprise four metro lines, around 46 stations, and more than 113 kilometres of new metro rail, connecting the city’s north‑west, CBD, south‑west, western Sydney and the new Western Sydney International Airport.
Delta provided a range of services from Business Case development, procurement advice, transaction management through to commercial advice during delivery packages including: Western Sydney Airport – commercial and delivery strategy for the Final Business Case, Sydney Metro North West contracts – Tunnels and Station Civil Works (D&C), Surface and Viaduct Civil Works (D&C) and Operations, Trains and Systems (PPP), City and South West packages and Eastern Tunnelling Package.
