The project addresses potential motorway capacity limitations by implementing various road, bridge, interchange and ramp upgrades along the Logan and Gateway Motorways in Brisbane.
In partnership with the Queensland Government the initial upgrade to 10km of the western section of the Logan Motorway includes adding additional lanes west of the Mount Lindesay Highway, upgrades to key motorway interchanges including Formation Street, and the installation of smart motorway technology.
Delta provided strategic procurement and commercial advice to develop the delivery strategy for this design and construction project. Delta also undertook engagement with the infrastructure construction market, extensive internal stakeholder and TMR consultation via workshops. Other services included the assessment of options for the procurement, packaging and commercial contract for delivery of the project through the existing Road Franchise Agreement and determining an approach to attract and engage delivery partners to execute the design and construction of the Project.
