Bruce Highway - Deception Bay Road Interchange Stage 1 (Package 3)

Building Queensland led the development of the business case for the project in partnership with the Department of Transport and Main Roads.

The business case investigated some enhancements to reduce congestion and improve safety. These enhancements include: 

- replacement of the existing two-lane Deception Bay Road 

  bridge with two four-lane bridges
- replacement of the signalised northbound and southbound 

  Bruce Highway on ramps with free flow ramps
- upgrades to the intersections east and west of the interchange
